In celebration of Mardi Gras the Bon Temp Social Club of San Diego and the Gator By The Bay Krewe paraded with 125+ Costumed Marchers followed by a magnificent Gator Float carrying 40 bead-tossing Bon Temps Revelers. Thanks go to Kathy Przekopp and the Gatorlandia Design Krewe. They outdid themselves for the outlandish trip through the historic Gaslamp section of San Diego February 16, 2010! The Dance and Donate
to the Burn Institute was a smashing success netting the Burn Institute nearly $1400. At the end of the evening we had an anonymous Angel matched the proceeds from the door, donations and the opportunity drawing! The Bayou Brother's Zydeco Matinee at the Belly Up in Solana Beach Sat ~ October 24, 2009 4-7 PM  $1 of each ticket goes directly to the Burn Institute.   An opportunity drawing for some very cool items will help the Burn Institute with their important work. The Burn Institute is a local agency all money raised stays in the local community. Drawing tickets will be available at the dance. Some of the items include: ~ A personal performance at your home or business by the Bayou Brothers Jazz Combo (a $350 value) ~ Two All Access passes for Gator by the Bay (a $130 value) ~ Dinner for 4 at a Fire House near you. (priceless) ~ Free admission for 2 to the next Bon Temps Social Club dance (a $28 value) ~ A wine and cheese gift basket by Gator by the Bay |
